Start by shortlisting local installers with experience in commercial systems similar to your business, and check whether the relevant designers and electricians hold Clean Energy Council accreditation. Ask for an on-site assessment, recent references, an itemised proposal, expected system performance, product and workmanship warranties, and details about grid-connection requirements. Compare more than one quote and confirm who will handle approvals, monitoring, maintenance and any applicable incentives. A licensed electrician or your electricity distributor can clarify technical requirements before you sign a contract.
