Feed-in tariffs in Townsville vary between electricity retailers and plans, so there is no single rate that applies to every solar customer. Townsville is on the Ergon Energy network, and your available export rate may depend on your retailer, contract, system size and export settings. Compare the feed-in tariff alongside the daily supply charge and electricity rates, because a higher export payment does not always mean a cheaper bill overall. Check current offers through the government’s Energy Made Easy website or ask your retailer how much they will pay for exported solar.
