Search for local installers with experience supplying and installing batteries, then compare several written quotes covering the battery, inverter, installation, switchboard work and monitoring. Check whether the installer and system meet current Clean Energy Council requirements, and ask about warranties, after-sales support and expected performance for your home. Battery rebates and incentives can vary by state, territory and household circumstances, so confirm eligibility through the relevant government website before signing. An electrician or accredited installer can assess your existing solar system, energy use and available space to recommend suitable options.
