Central Coast households may be eligible for the federal Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme, where Small-scale Technology Certificates can reduce the upfront price of an eligible solar system. The value depends on factors such as system size, location, installation date and certificate market conditions, so it is not a fixed rebate amount. Battery incentives may also be available under current federal or NSW programs, but eligibility, funding and approved products can change. Ask an accredited installer for a written breakdown and check the latest information at energy.gov.au and the NSW Government website.
